A popular tourist destination, with no sales tax shopping sprees and recreational & cultural activities year round.  Lincoln City is home to the "D River" which is the shortest river in the world.
 Lincoln City is one of the top 25 places to retire in the United States.
Several parks, campgrounds, trails, and rivers and coastline provide plenty of outdoor activities. Indoor activities include art galleries, gift shops, fine seafood dining and more.
 

Lincoln City is known as the Kite Flying Capital of the World! It is home to the Upper Drift Creek Bridge, Oregon's oldest covered bridge, and Oregon's oldest glass blowing studio, the Alder House II.
  
 
 


 
Lincoln City enjoys a mild coastal climate. The average winter temperature is 50º dropping to the mid 30’s at night. A typical summer will bring temperatures from 80-90º degrees inland to a windy 60-70º on the beach.
 
The annual rainfall averages 71.8 inches. Lincoln City has crisp clean air and with the northwest winds in the summer and southwest winds in the winter, which makes it an interesting climate to live in.

Stroll through this lovely coastal garden. This garden features Rhododendrons, Irises, Azaleas,  Primroses, and many perennials & trees.
